| Admissions Requirements | PhD (Pathology, Biochemistry): Eighteen years of education in the relevant field (M.Phil./ FCPS or equivalent qualification as recognized by HEC); MBBS/ equivalent recognized by the concerned regulatory authority. (BDS/ Non MBBS can apply for Molecular Medicine only); Valid registration with PM&DC; Minimum academic score of CGPA 3.0 (out of 4.0 in semester system) or 60 % marks in annual system (M.Phil., FCPS or equivalent degree); GAT subject test with minimum 60% marks. If the test is not available in GAT subject list of HEC, then NUMS will conduct Ph.D. entrance test and qualifying score will be 70%. M.Phil (Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Community Medicine, Pharmacology, Chemical Pathology, Microbiology, Oral Pathology. Dental Materials, Hematology): Sixteen years of education in the relevant discipline; MBBS/ equivalent duly recognized by the concerned regulatory authority; BDS can apply in Dental Material and Molecular Medicine only; Valid registration with PM&DC; Non-MBBS can apply for Molecular Medicine only; GAT (General) with minimum 50% of cumulative score; GAT will be valid for a period of two years. Master in Public Health:(18 Years Education): MBBS/BDS; Pharma D; BSc(Hons) Allied Health Science; BSN/ MSc Nursing; DVM; Master degree in a relevant subject such as Anthropology, Business Administration, Economics, Human nutrition, Microbiology, Physiology, Psychology, Public Health Engineering, Sociology, Statistics/Biostatistics and Zoology. MBBS/BDS/Nursing: Local Students: F.Sc (Pre-Medical) / A Level or Equivalent qualification; Minimum score 60% aggregate marks (Matric / F.Sc (Pre-Medical) / A Level or Equivalent qualification); University Entry Test. Foreign Seats: Equivalence by IBCC (in case of foreign qualification). B.Sc (Cardiac Perfusion, Medical Lab Technology, Medical Imaging Technology): F.Sc (Pre-Medical ) / A Level or Equivalent qualification; Minimum score 50% aggregate marks; NUMS Entrance test; Open merit from all over Pakistan.
